Sweet Little Something Easter Card - Big Shot Class

Happy April everyone!   Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend.   I meant to post this Easter card earlier but I failed to do so miserably.  I had super crazy 3 weeks of holding Club workshops, private workshops/classes and our very first Team Spring Workshop right after my family vacation in Whistler, BC.  Then my boy's travel baseball tournament season has finally started....  Now I am  hoping things will get a little bit more manageable for me:-)

Now back to my card...  We made this card at my Big Shot Class in March.  I hope you had a chance to earn the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder during the Sale-A-Bration.  Here I simply ran a piece of card stock through Big Shot with it but have seen some great ideas online, (i.e. pie crusts).

This bunny was stamped in three steps using the Sweet Little Something Stamp Set.  I used Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake ink pads.  I made an Easter card using this stamp set but it's versatile for babies and kids too.

Here is a great tip to color white ribbon and Delicate White Doilies in any color of your choice.  Just take any ink pad and a sponge dauber.  It's super easy and quick!

Supply List
Stamps - Sweet Little Something
Paper - Crumb Cake, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Whisper White, Springtime Foils Specialty DSP
Ink - Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist
Tools and Accessories - Delicate White Doilies, Sponge Daubers, Whisper White 1/8" Sheer Ribbon
Big Shot - Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder, Stitched Shapes Framelits

I cut out these beautiful flower and leaves from one pattern of the paper with a pair of scissors and then colored them using Stampin' Blends Markers (Old Olive and Pink Pirouette).  Isn't it beautiful?  So fun and easy too!!!

Ink - VersaMark
Tools and Accessories - Stampin' Blends (Old Olive, Pink Pirouette), Gold Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Gold Metallic Thread

Sweet Little Something Easter Card

Hello Stampers!  Here is one of the cards we made at my Card Club in February featuring the Sweet Little Something Stamp Set.  This stamp set is amazing!  In fact, I was so impressed with it and I immediately thought I had to share more!  So I demoed it again at a stamp camp last week.  I just love the bunny!  Doesn't she look so real?  It's easy to get that look with three easy steps!

Here is a color variation chart I created:
There are three bunny image stamps.  You want to start with most detailed image with the darkest color you pick (step 1) and use the solid image for step 3.

Helpful Tips:
  • Please note you may experience a different result compared to mine.  It depends on how juicy your ink pad is.  You may have to re-ink your ink pad or try to stamp-off if it's too juicy.
  • Try to align your step 2 and step 3 stamp images with the triangle spot that you see on your right.  It's between her face and ear.

I love the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper!  Ever since I saw the paper at OnStage last November, I knew it was going to be one of the products for me to order.  Silver foil adds a textured look to these handpainted designs.  Absolutely beautiful!

To make her bow I took the Whisper White 1/8" Sheer Ribbon and colored it with Flirty Flamingo and Berry Burst ink pads using the Sponge Dauber

Supply List
Stamps - Sweet Little Something
Paper - Whisper White Thick Card Stock, Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Soiree DSP
Ink -  Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Memento Tuxedo Black
Tools and Accessories - Whisper White 1/8" Sheer Ribbon, Stampin' Write Markers (Flirty Flamingo, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist)

Don't forget to register for this fun filled craft event!  This is the last week to reserve your spot.  Please click HERE to register online.  It will be fun!!!

Easter Bunny Window Box Basket - February Big Shot Class

Hello everyone!  Aren't these so cute?  We are making these adorable Easter baskets featuring the Window Box Thinlits Die Set and the Sweet Little Something Stamp Set at my Big Shot Class this month.

The Window Box Thinlits Die Set is so easy and versatile!  I just used one box die-cut piece to turn it to a basket.  Super easy!

How about this adorable bunny?  I'm having a lot of  fun with the Sweet Little Something Stamp Set!  You can create fun REALISTIC bunnies in just three steps!  No kidding!!!

For this bunny I stamped in the following order:
  1. Archival Basic Gray (most detailed stamp image)
  2. Smoky Slate
  3. Smoky Slate, stamped off once (solid image)
I have tried several different ink colors and they are amazing.  I even made a variation chart which I will share it with you with my  February Card Club project.  Stay tuned!
