Hi Stampers! I finally got to try these "Stair-Step Boxes" that I wanted to make forever! I needed to make it quick so I used the Stampin' Up! Matchbox die (retiring 5/31/112) to cut four boxes that are nested inside.
Here is the photo of inside of the box. The boxes are secured with Sticky Strip.
I stamped the outside of the box using the Darning Adventure stamp set. The sentiment is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.
I really like this "Well Worn" Designer Series Paper (122359)! When I made my first box, I adhered four boxes inside first and didn't stamp the outside so I decided to use the designer paper to dress it up. Now I don't know which style I like better????
I know I will miss our 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbon.... Yeah, they are all retiring in a few days. I think I will stock up at least some in my favorite colors.
We will be making these boxes at my Big Shot workshop on Wednesday, May 30th from 6:30 pm. There are a few spots still available. Please contact me if you would like to attend. The cost is $5 per person. We will be making one more project.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Friday! Isn't this card gorgeous? One of my downlines invited her friends and family to my studio last weekend and we had a fun afternoon of creating a couple of beautiful cards. They wanted to know different techniques to use the Framelits Dies and I thought this was a perfect project for that.
Remember this card I posted last month? We used the same technique to make my bird card. Click HERE to see the instructions.
I love this Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper! It's so beautiful. Sad to say it's going to retire at the end of the month.....

Hi Stampers! This month's card club projects were focused on masculine/boyish cards. I love this color combo (River Rock, Early Espresso and Soft Suede) with a touch of Denim Jean Blue Ribbon. We used the stamping sponge, Color Spritzer with Early Espresso Marker, and also the "stamping off" technique to stamp two images to make it lighter color in the background.
I love this Well Worn Designer Series Paper!!! It's too bad it's going to retire at the end of the month. I sure like it a lot.
She is home!!!
Here is my Madison! Thank you for your sweet emails and phone calls concerning about her. She finally came home from the clinic yesterday. That was a very long 4 days without her. She is not completely recovered yet but looking pretty good. I wish she could talk and tell me what she ate or did to make her so sick...... She did have a quite "adventure" too!
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Hi there! Isn't this gorgeous? Today's card showcases a new stamping technique - Tap Dancing!
Here is a close-up photo that you can see two ink colors (Daffodil Delight and Peach Parfait) used to achieve this beautiful look:
Follow these instructions to re-create my card:
- Ink the floral stamp with the Daffodil Delight Classic ink pad.
- Use the brush end of the Peach Parfait Stampin' Write Marker to add the accent color. Do this by tapping the side of the marker against the stamp and also coloring directly on the stamp.
- Breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink.
- Stamp the image on the card.
- Round the top corners of the card using the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. To do this, first I punched out a piece of card stock with the circle punch and used it as a template to mark where I needed to punch out at each corner.
- Stamp the greeting in Basic Gray ink.
- Cut out the butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die and adhere them to the card front. Embellish with the Basic Rhinestones.
- Punch a scalloped border along the top of the Designer Series Paper using the Scallop Edge Punch and adhere it to the card front.
- Wrap the ribbon around the front of the card and tie a knot.

Happy Monday, Stampers! What a week (not really a good one) I had last week! It started as busy with workshops and clubs and then a "family"emergency. One of my girls (Yes, I do have girls! They are pretty golden retrievers.) Madison, 11-month-old, became ill late Wednesday night. I took her to an animal hospital and brought her back on Thursday hoping she would be better but it got worse on Friday. She has been hospitalized since then. Each day she is getting better but I feel terrible and miss her so much. I don't know what she ate to make her so sick. I hope she will be able to come home today. Please pray for her......
This card was one of the Card Club projects this month. We used the Wild Wasabi Embossing Powder to pop Mr. Dino image. To give a lighter image we used the Watercolor Wonder Crayons (Wild Wasabi and Soft Suede) and a blender pen to color his body. Isn't he cute???
Here is another card I made with my son Ayden using the same stamp set (Dinoroar):

Happy Friday, Stampers! Isn't this cute? We made this card last night at my Ink Pad Club workshop. I'm sad to say a good-bye to my favorite "On Your Birthday" stamp set.... I'm known for sending "belated" birthday cards all the time, so this stamp set is a must-have for me:)
Anyway let's talk about this adorable card. To make a scoop of ice cream, first we used the 1 1/4" Circle Punch to punch 4 circles (Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait and Chocolate Chip). Then we punched out a small section off with the Scallop Oval Punch (see Baja Breeze piece below). We punched out a little bit more off the Chocolate Chip piece. We also used the White Gel Pen to dress it up. When I was creating this card for the workshop, my youngest son told me that I needed to add a cherry on top!!!! So we used the Cupcake Builder Punch (121807) for that. Thanks Ayden!

Hi there! I'm excited to share this unique scrapbook page we created in my Scrapbook Club this month. It has a slider behind the green (Pear Pizzazz) card stock piece to place a hidden journal. Do you see the red (Poppy Parade) tab on the left side of the Pear Pizzazz piece? That's how you pull out the hidden journal page. Watch the following photos closely and pay attention to the location of the camper as the hidden journal comes out.
The hidden journal page is completely open and the camper is on your right.
Mr. Bear! He is my favorite and I will miss him. This smore was created with a magic of Liquid Applique and Heat Tool to add the puffy texture.
I'm glad that the Pennant Parade stamp set has survived for another year at least.
Sad to say a good-bye to the "Live Every Moment" Embosslit Die which I think it's a must-have item if you like scrapbooking. We used a piece of Brushed Silver paper to add the shiny impression.
