Envelope Punch Board Flower Boxes

Happy Friday!  Here are the beautiful boxes from my Big Shot class this month.  I was inspired by my up-line Peg to create these boxes.  Did you know you can make many different projects using the Envelope Punch Board?

The lid for this box is made using the Envelope Punch Board.  I love the corners of the lid with a curved edge.  You can do this easily with the Punch Board.

Very Vintage Buttons (#129327)  & Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack  (SAB)

This beautiful flower was created with the Blossom Party Die (#115971) and Raspberry Ripple card stock.  To make it more dimensional I die cut and embossed two pieces of the largest flower and layered with Dimensionals.  In fact, each flower is layered with Dimensionals.  The leaves are die cut with the Secret Garden Framelits (#129372) and Gumball Green card stock.

In Color Dahlias (#127556)
The word "sweet" is from the Quite the Pair Stamp Set in the Occasions Catalog (see page 31).  To finish my flowers I used three different embellishment products because I couldn't make up my mine!!!

Supply List
Stamps - Quite the Pair
Paper - Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Very Vanilla, Birthday Basics DSP
Ink - Crisp Cantaloupe
Tools and Accessories - Envelope Punch Board, Very Vintage Designer Buttons, In Color Dahlias, Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack (Sale-a-bration)
Big Shot - Blossom Party Die, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder

Flower Pop-Up Box Card and Instructions

I have a very unique card to share with you today.  We made this at my Card Clubs last month.  I knew it would be very popular among my Club members but I underestimated how much they loved it!!!
This card actually folds flat (5-1/4" x 6") and fits into an envelope so that you can mail it to someone special!

We also made a coordinating envelope at my Clubs using Envelope Punch Board.  To make the envelope, you will need a 9-1/4" x 9-1/4" DSP and follow the next steps:
  • Align left edge of your DSP to the 4-3/8" score line on your Envelope Punch Board.
  • Punch and score lightly.
  • Rotate paper 90 degree counter clockwise.
  • Align score mark with Score Guide.
  • Repeat for all our corners.
  • Round corners with Reverse Punch
Tip:  We applied a strip of Washi Tape right over each score line inside (or outside) to reinforce the score lines to prevent from tearing the paper.

I have found the instructions on Splitcoaststampers (click HERE) and actually made one using their measurements.  However, I wanted to use a sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" card stock for the base instead of a 12" x 12" as instructed on Splitcoaststampers because most of my customers use 8-1/2" x 11" size card stock.  So I came up with different measurements for my card.  I have attached a link below to my PDF file so feel free to check it out.

Click HERE to download my Flower Pop-Up Box Card Measurements and Instructions.

Supply List
Stamps - Simple Stems, Secret Garden, Petite Petals, Just Sayin"
Paper - Sahara Sand, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette, Summer Starfruit, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Sweet Sorbet DSP
Ink - Crisp Cantaloupe, Summer Starfruit, Pool Party, Primrose Petals, VersaMark
Tools and Accessories - Petite Petals Punch, Window Sheets, Basic Pearls, Summer Starfruit Ribbon, Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack, Pool Party Emboss Powder, Heat Tool
Big Shot - Secret Garden Framelits, Word Bubbles Framelits

Lovely As A Tree Reflection Card & NEW Card Club Announcement

Here's a sneak preview of this month's Card Club projects using the Lovely As a Tree Stamp Set which is one of Stampin' Up!'s most popular stamps ever!

I have had a request to demo a "reflection" technique so thought this stamp set would be perfect for that.  I applied some Crystal Effects (101055) over the bottom of stamped image to create a glossy look and loved the result!!!

For the inside of my card, I also stamped a single tree image twice without re-inking.  You can also do the same technique on your envelope to add some handmade touch!

If you live nearby Sequim, Washington and would like to be part of my monthly Card Club, I have a great news for you.  I am adding another Card Club starting this month.  So check it out below for more details and please contact me ( if you are interested.

NEW Monthly Card Club Announcement
I am so excited to announce my NEW Wednesday Night Card Club today.   Currently I have three monthly Card Clubs and have had requests to have another Card Club.   Starting next Wednesday, March 12th, my NEW Wednesday Night Card Club will meet on the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at my Stamping Studio.  If you are interested, please contact me at

How My Monthly Card Club Works:
At my Card Clubs, we make at least two cards (sometimes we make a party favor in addition to two cards) and focus on learning new techniques/tricks.  Each person places a minimum product order ($15 before shipping and tax) at Club workshop each month.  Attendance is not required but you must turn in your order with your payment to me by your Club date.  Each month we assign a hostess for the month and she will receive the hostess benefits for the Club workshop.  Hostess benefits vary every month depending on the workshop total, but you are guaranteed to receive at least $25 in hostess dollars when you are the hostess of the month.  Hostesses are in charge of some refreshments for the workshop.  Please bring your basic tools and adhesive with you.

Click HERE to see my past Card Club Projects.

Here are some great reasons to join one of my monthly Clubs:
