Christmas Shutter Scrapbook

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas weekend.  I had a great time with my family and friends.  It ended with a big celebration for my youngest son.  He turned 10 years old!!!

We had a white Christmas!!!  It was so beautiful here!!!

Here is a cute Christmas Shutter Scrapbook we made at my Scrapbook Club.  We also made a Halloween version of this in October (click HERE to see it).

It's a 4" x 12" scrapbook when closed.  It has three shutter panels that expand for photos and journaling.  So adorable and fun to make!!!

Square Pillow Box Tote & Note Cards

Today I would like to share one of the projects we made in my Big Shot class a few months ago.  It makes a great handmade gift and does not take hours to make!!!  Oh yes.  Trust me on this!!!

This adorable tote was created using the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies and is large enough to hold three 3" x 3" note cards and envelopes.  There are so many ways (click HERE to see my cool card) to use the Square Pillow Box Dies.  Make sure to get it while it's still available for purchase.....  I am sad to tell you it's retiring at the end of the Holiday Catalog Season or it's sold out before then.

Flurry of Wishes Christmas Card

Here is one of the projects we made in my Card Club workshops this holiday season.  I love the Gold accents on this card.  How about the Snowflake Wooden Element?  It's so pretty!!!

We stamped and heat-embossed the greeting on a piece of Filter Paper.  Then we tore the edges and secured the piece with some Washi Tape.  The snowflake images are also stamped and heat-embossed with White Emboss Powder on a piece of Shimmery White Paper.  To add some color to the Shimmery White Paper we used an Aqua Painter and Pool Party ink.  The Shimmery White Paper is so perfect for this technique.  It holds water nicely and dries fairly quick.

Sleigh Ride Edgelits Ornament Card

Here is one of the projects we made at my Big Shot Class last month.  Isn't it gorgeous???  I love the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies and totally agree they are one of the best-sellers in this year's Holiday Catalog.  I can't believe it's retiring soon... So grab it while you still can if you don't have it!!!

I strongly suggest you use the new Precision Base Plate to die cut with these edgelits to get extra fine cuts.  I'm sure you will love it!!!

Festive Flower Grateful Scrapbook

Here is a fall scrapbook we made in my Scrapbook Club in October.  When I saw the Festive Flower Builder Punch in the Holiday Catalog for the first time, I knew I wanted to make a beautiful flower for the front cover of my scrapbook.  So here it is.....

It's so fun to build flower shapes using this punch and the coordinating Reason for the Season Stamp Set.  Yes, you can bundle them together and SAVE 15%!!!  How about the Iced Rhinestone Embellishments in the center of my flower?  So pretty!!!

I designed this scrapbook using 4 lunch bags to create pockets for photos and journaling space.  This provides more space to document your memories.

To add a decorative design I punched out the four corners of my card stock on the right with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

How about the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper?  It's so pretty!  We made a cool card using this paper pack in my Card Club workshops in October too.  I will make sure to share it with you soon.

Finally, here is the last page spread.  Can I tell you it was a lot of FUN to create this scrapbook?  And I can't wait to add my family photos to it!!!

Among the Branches - Autumn Wishes Card

Hello Stampers!  Today I want to share a simple card I made using the Among the Branches Stamp Set and the Woodland Embossing Folder.  I really hope you had a chance to grab the Woodland Embossing Folder while it was still available for purchase.  I'm sad to say that Stampin' UP! has depleted their inventory to offer this amazing embossing folder:)

You might be wondering where these cute leaves came from???  They are diecuts using the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies (139657/140858 or 140859 bundle) which is also retiring.....  Grab it while you can!!!

Wonderland Christmas Card

Happy December!!!  Here is one of my favorite Christmas cards I have made this year featuring the Wonderland Stamp Set.  This stamp set has been really popular among my customers and I can't believe it's going to be retired soon:)

Normally I would pick Cherry Cobbler, Real Red with Old Olive ...... for my Christmas cards but I just love this gorgeous Gold with Basic Black color combo.  It's so classic and pretty!!!

I love this Vellum Banner accent!  It was my solution to stamp this long greeting somewhere on my card front without covering up the beautiful tree image.  So I stamped the greeting on a piece of Vellum Card Stock in VersaMark and then heat embossed with Gold Emboss Powder to make it more visual.

So my next challenge was how to adhere this Vellum piece to my card front?  My tree piece is adhered with Dimensionals on the card base so I applied one Dimensionals on the back of my Vellum piece on the left to adhere it on the card base.  Then I adhered a Gold Metal Button with some Mini Glue Dots to cover up the Dimensionals which you can see through the Vellum.

Here are the measurements for you:
  • Basic Black (card base) - 4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
  • Winter Wonderland DSP - 4" x 2"
  • Shimmery White Paper - 2 1/2" x 4 1/4"
  • Vellum Card Stock - 4 1/4" x 1"
