Spooky Sweets Halloween Scrapbook Page, Halloween Luminaria, Cards & Treat Box

Hello Everyone!  Halloween is almost here.  Are you ready for it???  Here is a scrapbook page we made at one of my monthly club workshops.  I used to have a monthly scrapbook club for years and we made many different kinds of scrapbooks.  Now this same club has switched over to a sort of "Anything Goes" Club and hostess gets to pick a type of project each month.  So lately we have done several Stampin' Up! kits, a technique called "One Sheet Wonder", a home decor, and etc.

We also made this Halloween Luminaria in September and had so much fun.  I got an idea from the Dashing Deer Luminaria in the Holiday Catalog (see page 9).  I am going to CASE that soon:-)

I couldn't pass another Halloween without the Cat Punch:-)  And those pumpkins from the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper make it perfect for Halloween!

This was a super fun card to make with the new Shimmer Paint!  I stamped on a piece of Vellum Card Stock with the Frost White Shimmer Paint using Sponge Dauber for my background.  I really like how it turned out on the Vellum Card Stock.

Making a treat box is so easy with the new Takeout Thinlits Dies!  I love this coffin treat box for Halloween!  So fun and perfect!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!  Have a fun Halloween everyone!!!

Class Projects:
We will be making 2 cards focusing on learning advanced techniques using the Stamparatus.  I also have a bonus project that I will show you two great techniques.

Have you wondered how to stamp several images perfectly in a circle?  You can do that easily with the Stamparatus and it's so fun!!!

And these elves are so adorable!  For this card I will teach you how to make a template for your Stamparatus.  You will go home with your own template so that you can make more at home!

My next card was a challenge for me because I wanted the truck to pull these carts but the stamp image is actually facing in opposite direction and the bar that connects from the cart would not work....:-)

Look carefully at the stamp image of the truck from the stamp case on the left.  My stamped truck on the card is facing the other way.   Pretty cool???  For this card I will show you how to mirror an image using the Stamparatus.  It's really awesome.  You are welcome!

Here is my bonus project featuring two great techniques!   Have you wished you had the right size of Framelits?  Me too!!!  For this card I will show you how to change the size of a die-cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

You can't tell from this picture but these cute elves wobble on the card!  I have to give credit to Monica Gale, a super talented UK demonstrator, for her wonderful inspiration.

Here is a quick video for you!

Happy Stampin'!!!

Cauldron Bubble Halloween Card - September Card Club

Hello Stampers!  Here is one of the cards we made at my Card Club in September featuring the Cauldron Bubble Bundle.  I love the Toil & Trouble Suite products in the new Holiday Catalog.  The colors are bright and images are so darn cute!

My choice to color these adorable stamp images are using the Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers.  Coloring is not really my favorite thing to do but I found it's easier and forgiven when using these Stampin' Blends.  No harsh marks left!!!  Love it!

The colorful background card stock (Gorgeous Grape, 4" x 5-1/4") is embossed with the Woodland Embossing Folder.  I am not a fan of adhering a piece of paper over the embossed surface so I carefully inserted my Gorgeous Grape Card Stock leaving about 2-1/2" out of the embossing folder.  You can adhere your pattern paper (2" x 4") onto your Gorgeous Grape Card Stock before running through your Big Shot so that you know where to emboss.

To color my cute ghost I colored the entire image using the Smokey Slate Light Stampin' Blends and then immediately went back with the Color Lifter Stampin' Blends to take away some of the Smokey Slate color.  You need to do this very quickly in a small circular motion while it is still wet.  I love this technique!

Supply List
Stamps - Cauldron Bubble
Paper - Basic Black, Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White, Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper, Black Foil Sheets
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Tools and Accessories - Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers (Smokey Slate Combo, Basic Black Combo, Granny Apple Green Combo, Pumpkin Pie Combo, Mango Melody Combo, Poppy Parade Light, Highland Heather Combo, Daffodil Delight Combo, Ivory, Bronze)
Big Shot - Cauldron Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Woodland Embossing Folder
