Hi Stampers! I just realized that I haven’t shared this unique card we made last week at my Card Club workshops. It “looks” complicated but it’s not really. It requires some paper folding technique which I found this video tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.
The stamp set we used for this card is one of my favorites from the Holiday Mini Catalog. There is something about the Pines and Poinsettias set I was really impressed with. Especially when I stamped the pine cone image with Stampin’ Markers (Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler), the image sort of “popped out” amazingly.
We also played with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint to stamp the flourish and the big poinsettias images. First we applied the Shimmer Paint directly onto the flourish image with a sponge dauber and stamped it at each corner as a background. To stamp the big poinsettias image, we mixed some Shimmer Paint and Crumb Cake Classic Refill in a plastic palette for a darker color. Then we applied the ink directly onto the stamp with a sponge dauber. It’s hard to see it but the images are very shinny because of the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. It’s a “must have” product!
