Here are the projects we made at my recent Big Shot class. Can you believe we made all these three cards using only one die-cut of Striped Scallop Die?
It all started with this piece.
We cut it off at the third row from the bottom as shown above.
We made this card first using the following technique.
A small amount of Snail Adhesive (you can use “removable adhesive) was used at each corner of the die-cut to secure onto a Whisper White card stock and then we colored the entire piece with a mixture of Lost Lagoon ink and alcohol in a Stampin’ Spritzer. Sorry my picture doesn’t look like Lost Lagoon color but it’s a lot darker than this:)
Here is a better picture for you. We let it dry for about 5-10 minutes and then carefully separated the pieces. We used the top piece for the first card shown above and the bottom piece for the card shown next.
I love this card!!! The scallop die-cut piece is adhered to a piece of Window Sheet as a card front. The small pearls at the top row of the scallop die really add an additional beauty to the card.
I love this color combo – Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon and Whisper White!!!
Here is the third card we made adding a small piece of the Striped Scallop at the bottom of card front. Isn’t it pretty?
I hope you can see the shimmery accent on the flowers. I filled a Stampin’ Spritzer with some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz and alcohol to apply the shimmery accent. These flower die-cuts are from the new Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die in the annual catalog.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day! GO HAWKS!!!!
