Happy August everyone! It’s time for a new card kit. I chose the Sunset Coast Bundle, which is part of the Scenic Coast Suite Collection. As you probably know, this bundle has been so popular ever since it debuted in May, it has been backordered several times. You can create beautiful oceanfront scenes with sailboats, seashells, rock formations, and lighthouses. The sentiments are perfect for retirement, anniversary, or new adventure cards.

The Sunset Coast Stamp Set is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors you want.

And what can I say about the Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper? It is absolutely gorgeous featuring vivid colors and layered textures. This two-sided paper has coastal sunsets on one side and visually engaging, versatile patterns on the other. Some sheets feature iridescent details that shift color as you move them. Pretty cool!

SPOILER ALERT! Here is one of the projects included in this month’s kit. I love making fun-fold cards! This fun-fold card is easy to make and also offers a great layout to showcase patterned paper.

For this card I used two 6″ x 6″ sheets of the Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The second project shown above features two different specialty paper – Sunset Shimmer Vellum and Shimmering Stripes. The Sunset Shimmer Vellum is part of the Scenic Coast Suite Collection. The Shimmering Stripes Specialty Paper is brand-new in the Online Exclusives Collection. I love how this card turned out with some added textures and sparkles!!!
